Friendly staff, lovely and tidy rooms

Anchorage is absolutely everything you could want in a tiny friendly village. Gaki takes care of your every need. The room, linen, cookware etc is spotlessly clean. Gaki will heat your private hot tub, so when you return after a busy sightseeing day, your right to hop straight in and begin relaxing under the stars.

Lovely place and very clean. We booked the studio with private patio and wooden hot tub, which we used both nights. I highly recommend.

Easy comfortable stay. Room was good, the kitchenette facilities very handy for our hike prep and walking distance to town. Very friendly staff.

We were late arrivals but so cared for, and heat pump was on waiting - kind hearted owners and staff!!☺️

While the check-in process was easy and the sheets were clean, the room did not match the pictures available online. The furniture and showers were very worn and dated, unlike the modern pictures found online. For the price they charge I was very disappointed in the quality of the room.

Wonderful stay! Great location, spacious lodging, convenient parking. The staff were especially kind and accommodating.

This was the right kind of place for us. It's not a 5 star experience, but the place has everything we needed, and the location was excellent for walking to town. While the outside looks a little dated, everything inside was clean and in good shape. We especially liked the tub (indoor jacuzzi tub) and the mini kitchen which allowed us to make our own breakfast and lunch for a day out exploring in Milford Sounds. The bed was also comfortable with nice linens/towels, etc.
