Knew it was basic for amenities, but this is a motel, not a hotel as represented in the description. Very sparse amenities, and desk only available from 2:30-10:30 pm during our stay. While it worked fine for us, there is no noise blocking AT ALL. If you have trouble sleeping or it’s busy season and you need a quiet place, I’d skip this one. No elevators, so if you have any issues with stairs request the first floor. It was fine, but don’t think I’d use a Base Camp property in the future if I can avoid it. Reviews made it sound nicer than what it is. It was pretty clean and the bed wasn’t too bad, so that was a plus.

Perfect location in Canmore -conveniently located on the pedestrian walkway in downtown with shops & food right outside your door. Would 100% stay here again & recommend to others.

We loved the place... very nearby to main street. However the rooms are not ventilated enough and AC was not sufficient for the big bedroom and and was not working properly even for smaller bedrooms.
There was all utensils here to be able to cook and they provided more than sufficient towels when requested for room service.
We took the 3 bedroom stayplace which can accomodate 10 people but unfortunately they were not able to provide parking for 2nd car.
Overall would recommend all improvements but still worth the stay
