This is a nice hotel in a goid location. Easy to access the city and the drop off for the airport shuttle is right in front. Very good breakfast. Very nice staff.

+ Great blackout shades.
- Hectic tour bus hotel.
- Too brief info on how/where to park car.
- No cozy bar lounge.

The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel is 20 minutes walk from the Harpa concert hall and much closer to the main shops. The FossHotel is well located. (On a map it's close to the Hofdi)
It's a huge hotel and very busy at breakfast as several groups/tours will be getting ready to get out at the same time.
Bus stop 12 for tour pickup is right outside (a good thing) but several tour buses turn up around 9.15 and chaos ensues! This is not the fault of FossHotel and if you're relaxed about it it's quite entertaining. We would happily stay there again.
