Really nice to stay accomodating staff and. Room was always clean and nice and tidy

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was extremely disappointing. The air conditioning in our room was not functioning properly. Even after being checked in for more than three hours, the room temperature remained at 24°C despite setting the thermostat to 18°C. A staff member came to inspect it and simply told us to wait longer. Unfortunately, the room remained uncomfortably warm throughout our entire four-night stay. As a solution, the hotel provided a single fan. However, our room included a large tatami area, and one small fan was completely inadequate for the size of the space. The cleanliness standards were also unacceptable. We discovered blood stains on a futon stored in the tatami room closet. When we requested a replacement, staff responded that it would be fine as long as a cover was placed over it. This response was shocking and completely unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. Parking was another major issue. We paid ¥2,000 per night for the hotel parking, yet the parking lot became full and the gate was closed. When we pressed the assistance button, nobody responded. We eventually had to drive back out and locate staff ourselves. Even then, the staff seemed confused and asked whether we were checking in that day instead of addressing the problem. The issue was never handled properly, despite us paying the full parking fee. I cannot recommend this hotel and would not stay here again

The room was spotlessly clean, though it felt a bit dim due to limited lighting. While the fixtures and fittings were a little dated, they were very well-maintained. A major plus was the excellent heating system, which worked perfectly.

The hotel is nice and accommodating. It’s close to the park and everything you can easily get to.

Hotel breakfast buffet had many western and Japanese options and was tasty. It is right next to Odori park and a short walk from the metro so it was conveniant. The front desk was very helpful: our first room had a small flood in the bathroom when we first walked in, and as soon as I told them they switched us to a new room within 5 minutes so we were super thankful . The hotel itself seems rather dated like from the 1990s which I was surprised about but is very clean so it didn’t matter in the end

Walkable , good eats and shopping. clean room, nice amenities. Staff are great . Lots of selection with buffet breakfast. Has a tea room for checked in guest from 3 pm till 9pm for free.

Great location, staff was great, breakfast was highly commendable. We enjoyed it. Will stay again
