Staff met us on arrival on Monday the 15th of June didn't see a single person until Wednesday evening, had problems with the TV hotel manager explained that they had no TV licence but we could download our own network system ? Surely its illegal to not have a TV licene or an entertainment licence? As two pensioners a tv was essential to enable us to relax after a busy day in Blackpool. The result of no staff being present was we were unable to get clean towels until Thursday, the room was not cleaned all the time we were there, On the Thursday we decided to eat at the Hotel after a busy day, The food was a buffet upon eating the food was dry and obviously had been reheated very disappointing, Buffet was advertised at£14.99 2 cans of coke with a value of 85 pence clearly written on the cans where charged at £2.00 each .Clearly this is an illegal practice, v We were charged a service charge of 7% it was a buffet and no service was offered, The member of staff present was surly and wouldn't engage in conversation, When asked to provide a receipt we were presented with a printed half A4 sheet , So happy to be going home the following day..

Really enjoyed our stay here, staff were so helpful, upgraded our room to a lower floor, helpful with everything. also had a buffet in the restaurant which was delicious.

It was ok. Rooms are out dated no extra key card no cleaning service

Had only booked for "Room only", but on returning in the evening, found it was the opening night for their new Buffet dining service and was invited to sample free of charge! Unfortunately having already eaten wasn't up for a full meal but from the small sample I had is highly recommended - wide variety for all tastes and excellent quality. Staff friendly, attentive and helpful throughout.

Room was nice and had a great view of the sea front. The staff were super welcoming and nothing was too much of an issue. Really nice break for a night and will definitely consider the same hotel for the future.

In need of re decorating

Very good staff room clean

the room was not fit for purpose, damp and blistered plaster ,no bedside lamp ;no rubbish bin , no TV, told had not received licence . dirty windows, and work still to be done outside the windows.No food offered or available. I had booked for two nights , I left after one ,but didn't ask for refund . Only one member of staff, who was apologetic ,and said my room was an upgrade . I paid cash on arrival ,but did not get a receipt.

Perfect location for the heliport or airport.. mars & the two next door are the three closest hotels to both. The guy waited up late for me until almost 11pm when my train was delayed & they usually close at 10pm so it was really good of him. I accidentally damaged something & offered to pay for it but he wouldn't take payment...so understanding & sound of him. You can see he's investing in the place & trying to make it better, not just neglecting it like at some places. There was a radiator in the room which I could turn up or down myself & I liked that (better than those ceiling units you get in the big hotels). I was given a free room upgrade to a sea view room & it had been a steal of a price anyway so it was pretty awesome of them. I'll definitely got back because of the close proximity to the heliport but it's also very close to the beach (just over the road) & the promenade & South pier is just a short walk away.
