Staff was very friendly and they let us check in early at no extra charge

An okay place to stay if you get a good price. Pros: comfortable beds with newer linens, daily housekeeping, plentiful food at the free breakfast, and great location. Cons: room was damp and musty and our clothes and bedding always felt damp. Weed / vape smell present at all times. Bathroom is quite small and shower nozzle leaked, spraying water around the room. Note there is no elevator.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and mostly in good shape, so my "complaints" are minor. While the lobby area had been "refreshed" in the past 5 years (since the last time I stayed), the rooms are showing their age. I like that the carpet was replaced with LVF, but there's a gap between the floor and the bathroom, which is dangerous, and there were cracked tiles in the bathroom. But it was very clean. The bed was like sleeping on a giant marshmallow, which is not a good thing. It was also very high up. I asked the front desk if any rooms had lower beds and was told, regretfully, that they are all the same. I had to ask for a step stool to get in and out (seriously. And I'm 5'2", not too short). The desk clerk didn't bat an eye, which I assumed meant they get that request fairly often. But overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would go back.

the rooms are small and simple but very quiet and comfortable. The property is beautifully set in woods and surrounded with flowers. close to great restaurants and the beaches

For starters, be aware that photos on their site are AI enhanced! The lobby does not look anything as lovely as what you see online. Our king room, which we were told was no different than any other room was tiny. There was NO kitchenette of any sort. A small fridge and small microwave. That's it. The bathroom was big enough to shimmy through and close the door. With the toilet, shower and door, there was nearly no room. The carpet was gross and the walls and floor looked dirty. The AC worked but had filters sticking out because they were the wrong size. Chair in the room was all stained. Used a towel to sit down on it. The site advertised an outdoor pool which we looked forward to but it was all closed up and overgrown. The stairs up to the second floor and the ground itself was rough. Breakfast was nothing great. Lots of packaged processed foods. Now, the bed was clean. I'll give them that. Not what was advertised at all. We stayed only 2 nights then found someplace else down the road that was wonderful. Would I stay again? 1 night in a pinch, maybe.

Convenient location but getting old and needs some TLC

While the room was clean and bug free, it was not maintained well at all. Very dated and not modern at all. EG: the bathroom door was coming off the hinges and not secured properly. The bathroom sink had spider cracked in the basin and the desk chair was falling apart to the extent I wouldn’t take not chance sitting on it. All reported to the front desk and the only thing they did was replace the desk chair. Would I go back to this location? No way.
