Charges and fees are not fully explained at check-in. The guy who checked me in charged my card one thing and I specifically asked him what my full toll would be then in the middle of the morning at 4am my card was charged again. The air conditioner in the room we were given did not work at all. Maintenance came to check the issue but nothing was done. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but checked out after 1. This hotel charges resorts fees and it’s clearly not a resort. It’s just in a conven convenient location. The pool isn’t even open. I’m sure there are better hotel to stay in than this one. I probably won’t book here again.

I was displeased with the lack of soap in our room party of two. We had ask for room service on the second day due to no bin in the room and the only bin was in the bathroom. Had asked for housekeeping a day in advance and never got but had to go to the check in poi2bt to ask again.

The hotel seems to be short staffed. The front desk needs a lot more help. One rogue roach in my room, only one 😬Good location in the French Quarter, though.

I have stayed in quite a few Laquinta's & this particular property was probably the worst one. The staff was pretty nice. The AC in our room was horrible. Anytime you tried to lower the unit, it would kick off. Thermostat said it was 60 degrees, but it was barely cool. We asked if a fan was available, but there wasn't any. They offered to send up a tech, but after walking around all day, we were ready to settle down. We declined because we had no idea how long that would take. The bathrooms were clean, but the carpet in our room was not. After walking around in the room barefoot, I had to clean my feet before putting on my shoes. Gross. The breakfast offered was pretty skimpy as well. They had eggs, sausage, bread/toast, pancakes & a few cereals. They had coffee, milk & juice. The only fruit available was oranges & not the ones that peel easy. Other breakfast items that are normally available at Laquinta's include apples/bananas, yogurt, bagels/muffins, etc. And the TV in the breakfast area was ridiculously loud, so conversations between people were even louder. The hotel included a bar & we were given 1 free drink. However, the bar was never open while we were there in order to redeem it. The pool was closed due to "maintenance." On a positive note, the location was great & of course the room rates given were surprisingly low.

There was a $150 damage deposit we didn't plan for, the reason we booked the hotel was for the rooftop pool it was closed due to construction very disappointed

Terrible staff, poor check in process, pool was under construction, breakfast did not have fresh selection. A/C was broken and was only usable if you have it set at only 70 degrees, if you go colder than that it starts to shut off

Room had a humming sound and wasnt resolved . So sleep was tough and to top it off one morning the fire alarm went off so our sleep was interrupted some more

Overall a nice hotel to stay at. Beware of the 150.00 security fee and also there is a 18.00 a day destination fee. Parking is 40.00 a night also. Other than that I would definitely stay again.
