clean room, quiet place! Nice~

Comme chaque année depuis 5 ans, tout se passe bien à l'exception cette année de quelques incidents mineures: chambre demandée en étage élevé, j'étais au rez-de-chaussée; flacon du gel douche/shampoing entièrement vide; fête dans une chambre du personnel juste sous ma chambre le 2ème soir (stoppée à 23h à ma demande donc rien d'alarmant mais pas agréable quand on espère retrouver le calme après une journée très bruyante). Malgré tout, la chambre reste très confortable même au RDC, la qualité de la literie est très bien et le petit déjeuner est excellent.

Nunca me limpiaron la habitación. Hice una queja prometieron limpiarla al dia siguiente pero tampoco pasaron. El ultimo día de mi estadía se corto agua caliente y tube que bañarme con agua fria.

Erinomaisella paikalla hyvien liikenneyhteyksien lähellä rauhllisella alueella. Raitiovaunulla pääsi rautatieasemalle ja messukeskukseen, metrolle (s-bahn) käveli muutaman minuutin. Ruokakauppa l(Rewe) lähellä. Monipuolinen aamupala ja erityisruokavalio huomioitiin pyydettäessä. Huone oli rauhallinen ja siisti. Siivouksen välin sai itse toivoa. Pysäköintihalliin pääsi hissillä. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta. Suosittelen!

hotel is old. The stairs is upset for groups tour and they are not well prepared and we never stay again. he staff is not friendly.

The main hotel was fine, however there’s two buildings to this hotel. We stayed in the building across the road. The room was okay, the carpet could have been cleaner but the bed was comfortable. Could have done with two pillows each rather than one. What spoilt our stay was during 4 nights stay was we had no room service whatsoever. We were down to our last few sheets of toilet roll when leaving. Many will ask why didn’t I ask for extra, I am not prepared to go over the road and walk back with toilet roll or other things. We were on the main road where the 17 tram runs very regular, been on floor one was a little noisy, however for the convenience of public transport it was vey good and could live with the noise, in summer with the windows open, could be to noisy. Overall it was an enjoyable stay for the Christmas Markets, just wish room service would have been available, once again I should not have to ask for it.

Room was way too hot even when airconditioning on lowest setting. Was told we had to pay for extra coffee after first day even though stating three nights. Room wasn’t cleaned at all so. NO restocking of toilet paper or tissues. Was told room would only be cleaned if notified afternoon before and we were out all day. Despite paying for entire stay on arrival the full amount was put on hold on my credit card and has still not been refunded.

Abrupt reception

Nice, relatively large room with balcony, quiet, good beds, good stay, zero critical observations. Hotel is from 2000s, is in overall good condition, approaches the point where some fresh paint or light renovation could lift things from good to real good. Staff was friendly, did not do anything wrong - in some situations, it appeared to me that people were not massively experienced or a bit insecure in their role. Like the reception lead discussions the colleagues potential mistakes or the restaurant staff trying to take every single thing from your table when it appeared you may no longer need it. But overall a good experience - just a bit more chaotic, compared to more premium houses. Breakfast was okay, some highlights, some mediocre parts. Not bad, but not a breakfast temple. E.g. no real selection of fruits, only basics. Sliced sausages felt like basic supermarket material. Yet good quality on most other areas / decent selection. Overall okay but I would price it below 19eur in my value perception.
