The hotel is in a great location. This is the second time we stayed at Hotel Chancellor. We enjoyed the friendly and very helpful staff. The rooms are clean and all the amenities. We loved also the coffee and cookies and the water/tea. Highly recommend, we will come back again.

The hotel is just off the Union Square. Room is very clean. There are free foods all day long: apples, cookies and pop corn. And free coffee and tea all day long. Also a machine which purifies water so you can fill up your water bottles any time of the day. There is a large walk in closet in my room and quite a large fridge. The room is very clean with comfortable beddings. We stayed for 3 nights. The room was made once during our stay. We did not request for any room service. I think it is a great value considering the location and timing. Our stay was during the 4th of July holiday. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who does not want to spend a fortune.

This is a vintage building g so the bathroom amenities are designed to fit the er!, the toilet is closer to a toddler toilet. Overall we loved the stay.

Very good location- Friendly staff and well maintained and welcoming facilities

Never again. The hotel itself was fine, the staff were helpful and friendly. But the noise from the street below was too much. There is a bar right next door and there was a huge fight one night with people drunk. Nine cop cars were at the scene. It went on for an hour between midnight and 1am. The following night, construction was going on across the street. It was impossible to get any sleep.

Good in general terms. Well lo ated

free cookies 24/7. coffee and tea 24/7. quiet and clean rooms. Rooms were a little small. There is a cute little bar on the other side of the lobby.

I love this hotel and will stay there every time I am in SF.
