Positives: Comfortable beds. Clean linen. Booked a 2 room apartment, but actually it was two separate apartments in a corner, so they didn’t really connect. Property is going through a slight renovation, so the hall floors were bare of carpet. The AC unit in one room looked dusty and dirty inside. The other room was ok. It was pretty quiet. The furniture was more dorm room style and where there was metal it was rusty in parts. Showers and bathrooms need upgrading as the wear and tear was showing on the tile and bath. No face cloths supplied. Lighting could have been nicer with side lamps in living areas. Toilet flushing mechanism wasn’t working properly in one of the rooms. Access to the property after hours was via a code, which wasn’t easy to use as there were three different touch/pin boxes and it was hard to know which was the one to use. Even a tenant was locked out. Eventually we figured it out. Usually they swipe their card but it wasn’t working last night. I think with upgrades I could give it 4 stars, but for now only 3 as it was a bit shabby furniture wise. There is a washer and dryer and small kitchen area.

Under renovation rooms are old

If the front desk in unoccupied, the phone number stand on the desk is useless because there is no one to answer. Gave the perception of being ignored if someone was going to magically come answer it instead of the staff member truely being busy.

jonte at the front was the absolute sweetest made check in so easy and was interested in what i was doing and my interests they were an absolute angel id genuinely give 5 for them alone but the room was so nice the shower and toiletries were perfect and nice smelling the balcony was a bit sketchy for standing but thats okay apart from that everything else was perfect i would stay here again 10/10

Checked into the hotel, and reception couldn’t be more helpful, I found the room excellent and reception recommended a fantastic place to eat in Chinatown, met the general manager who couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome. Ended up booking more rooms for my return trip in September. Well done punthill little Bourke 👍

Simple but clean and comfortable accommodation, had everything we needed for a one night stay while attending a conference in Melbourne. Staff were warm and welcoming, great communication from the initial booking through to check-out. Excellent proximity to Her Majesty's Theatre if seeing a show there, which we did. Would stay again, great value for money.

Absolute filthy. Basically a hostel room. Bathroom was falling apart, water leaking from every tap. Poor quality room

Rooms needs a good cleaning ! Staff were good very helpful we wanted a room with walk in shower they transferred us to flinders lane Heidi I think did all this with no charge to us !!! Whole premises need a good upgrade/refirbishment

The reception staff was friendly and helpful, especially Blessing as I mentioned to her that the only fault with the room was that the bed mattress was too soft and I had a bad night’s sleep because of it.

The reception was great. However the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows terrible. The apartment was dirty and run down. There was no carpet in the hallway as it looked as if they were renovating and stopped halfway through. Great location but very polluted area. No view from balcony and very dirty.
