I have not stayed in a hotel in the San Jose area in quite a while, and I was shocked at the prices of rooms now. I shopped for a lower price, not realizing that under $200 per night might get me into a room that was seriously sub-standard. This room had lots of maintenance issues, the carpet was filthy and there was hair in the sink and tub upon my arrival. It was only 2 nights, so I sucked it up.
The bed was reasonably comfortable, and the AC worked. I felt safe, and it was quiet at night.
I will not stay there again.

We visited the area for the world cup and only stayed one night. The room was in great condition and didn't get the change to enjoy the amenities. The staff was very friendly. Great place for a quick turn around trip.
