ソフィテル ロンドン ヒースロー (Sofitel London Heathrow)

We had an overnight stay and it was very pleasant and super convenient, because we just walked to our terminal next morning.

Great hotel for access to Heathrow terminal 5 flights

Everything one would expect from the Sofitel family enhanced by being directly attached to Heathrow T5.

Lack of sufficient UK electric sockets. Other sockets are not compatible with world standards as available on most plug-voltage sockets.

The hotel requires some improvements to continue to maintain it’s 4/5star status

Reception staff in a hurry to send me off upon checking. No info given about the hotel amenities, room service etc.

Perfect location for a long layover

Convenient to Terminal 5, Heathrow! Staff are always kind and friendly.

Check-in was ok but it would of been helpful if I had been told how to switch on the lights in a pitch black room. Maybe something on the back of the keycard holder? The room itself was excellent with a fabulous bathroom. I had a snack and some drinks in the Bar area but all were vastly overpriced. That said what I had was very good. I guess you're paying for the convenient location. Unfortunately I was woken up at just gone 7 in the morning by Housekeeping trying to get into the room which frightened the life out of me. Apparently Reception had told them that the room was vacant. I would add that I did receive an apology from the Housekeeper and also Reception when I made them aware of the situation. Breakfast was excellent with a very good selection to choose from. There were plenty Restaurant staff who were welcoming and helpful.

Convenient for a short stay next to the airport. Jamie at reception was great at checking me in - it can get quite busy. Facilities were a little tired (my shower head over that bath wasn’t working) and nor was my keycard despite having reception fix it twice - they did however try to resolve it as best as they could.
