It was nice

Rooms were much nicer than the outside of the buildings. Pool and cabana bar was excellent. Location was great!!! You have to pay additional fees for watercraft, which I didn't love. Overall, great experience!

The property is well situated along the shoreline in Lake George Village. Nice little beach, beautiful pool, pool bar with a great lake view. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in was slightly after 4:00, but they did give us our room location so we could park near the room and return when it was ready. The room was small and nothing special. Weird that the bathroom was fairly large compared to the bedroom. A little disappointing for the price, to be honest. There was a curious stain in the shower and concerns with the curtains blocking the a/c unit.

Upon arriving I was told my reservation was not found and booking through a 3rd party (Expedia) it sometimes cancels on its own. After some “searching” they found it and said I got the last room. When I finally got into my room the lock would not work and this was a problem since I’m a single mom with young kids. I was told it’s fine you need a key to unlock the door and only the staff have access to this. I was very unsettled and not heard. I had to prop a chair under the handle for safety.

Such a great hotel. Perfect location, clean, and private beach was fantastic with small kids. We loved our experience.

The rooms are big, the location is walking distance to everywhere. Plenty of parking, with an underground parking lot as well. The private beach area is nice though a little small. The cabana bar is conveniently located right on the beach, it's nice to grab a drink there and have a nice view of the lake. The rooms are nice and big, I did spot some paint peeling off but minor. The worst thing about this place is that you can hear every single thing in the room. People walking upstairs, people talking outside, every little sound can be heard. I had trouble sleeping because of this. I wish they would have insulated the rooms better.

Had a great experience at The Georgian. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and newly remodeled. I appreciated that there were no carpets, just wood floors, perfect for a hotel with beach and pool access. The pool was beautiful and the cabana bar was convenient and well stocked with great happy hour specials.
