5 minutes from the airport. Clean and well maintained. Well furnished rooms. What more could you want from an airport hotel? I stayed 2 night upon arrival and one night before departure. Free drop off at airport with hotel operated minibus. Just be aware is some distance from the busy parts of the island but option close to the hotel for local food well prepared and served - turn left out of hotel and walk 5 minutes to find options.

Although only a short stay we were delighted with the very speedy check in and excellent staff on reception.
The rooms were fantastic and so comfortable, my only regret is not staying longer.
The airport shuttle service was also a fantastic help.
Thank you to all at the hotel.

Sugar marina AVIATOR hotel is very convenient to airport. Excellent for those arriving or departing at inconvenient times.
Free shuttle to nearby beach. Cheap, tasty Thai food shops within a couple of blocks.
Great place for overnight near the airport when in transit or fighting jet-lag; used by flight crews from several airlines.
Quirky decor with strong WWII aviation theme.
Other hotels in the Sugar Marina chain are located in the nearby resort areas of Phuket City and in Ao Nang in Krabi and may be more suitable final vacation destinations. But I will definitely try to book it when arriving or departing from Phuket International Airport again.

A perfectly lovely hotel, quirky & cute.
We loved the aviation theme.
Perfectly situated for the airport.
Restaurant attached called the midway is awesome too. Reasonably priced and you can get a beer or glass of wine too

Very nice and comfortable hotel not far from the airport with shops restaurants nearby.
Welcoming stuff, good sized nicely decorated rooms. Wish there were only plugs to charge the phone next to the bed.
