Hotel was great. I think though that I might have been shilled by the VERY early morning night manager. I told him that I had used several mini bar items and he advised that he couldn't take the charge on a CC but would have to pay cash. It was only about $35 USD but then I saw a $35 charge on my CC in addition to my room charges ($3000). I'd stay there again in a heart beat but I would NOT trust a night manager again...

最高 Beautifully decorated rooms and hotel. Easy walk, access to vaperetto and water taxis. Extensive breakfast buffet. Very pleased. Recommend.

GOOD - Hotel and rooms were very clean, the staff was very friendly, welcoming and would do whatever they could to please you. Great location too!
BAD - Horrible air conditioning, room never went below 20.5C. Breakfast was limited, with soggy wet scrambled eggs and gross coffee. $30 Euros for mixed alcohol drinks, ridiculous!

We loved that this hotel is a throwback to old Venice, but with contemporary flare and updates. We had a suite on the lagoon. One thing to know is that the lagoon rooms have a lot of foot traffic underneath them as people are boarding tenders to go back to cruise ships near here. But we thought that was fun and it did not bother us at all. The traffic is mostly during the day when we were out and about.
