Staff asked me not to throw garbage into the pool. I am a grown man, why would purposely throw garbage into your algae infested pool.
Pool was green. Not safe.

This is a classic old San Isidro hotel: colonial style older building with larger rooms that feel a bit dated in furnishings, bathrooms on the smaller side. Staff is super friendly and the location is excellent: next to a coffee and gelato shop and walking distance to many other restaurants.

The hotel is beautiful and beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly helpful offering restaurant recommendations, advice for parking at notable areas, etc. The breakfast and the staff preparing it were absolutely lovely. We could not have imagined a better stay.
