Excellent parking, friendly staff, food good in dining room

Room was poor. Needed total renovation. Bathroom very dated. Bin not emptied on arrival. Worn carpet. King size bed put in but was a double fixed headboard with fixed lamps meant I banged my head on it. Bed was comfortable. Single bed in room was basically a fold up camp bed. Arrived 8pm at night and bar food stopped at 9pm. Ordered a pizza to share and it arrived 30 minutes later nearly cold. Pretty inedible. The staff on the whole were polite and attentive and breakfast was excellent. The room cleaning was poor. Bucket not emptied in our 2 night stay. Sink not wiped. Used cups left outside our room all day. Parking was good and the main reason we chose location. We won’t be using this hotel chain again.

Nice location and reasonable rooms for the money. No air conditioning in the rooms made them unbearable. There was a fan (seemingly from the 70's) but only 2 plug sockets in the room, neither if which near the bed, so the fan had no affect whatsoever. Staff we friendly and helpful but food and drinks weren't great quality and were massively overpriced

Nice hotel and friendly staff, just found it strange that there were no biscuits with the tea and coffee facility, as even guest houses provide biscuits these days.

Le cadre est chouette, les pièces de reception aussi. Nous devions être dans la partie de l’hôtel qui n’a pas été restaurée, un peu vieillot, des détails à revoir dans les chambres. Petit dej sympa, même si nous avons dû nous mettre à part avec notre chien ( pour lequel nous avons payer 20£ en arrivant…)

The rooms are quite dated. The furniture is not in the best of conditions which was a poor reflection for a nice hotel. Also the bed wasn't very comfortable.

Lovely staff very helpful and good location on business route

Great venue in a great location for not having to move your car. Public transport perfect. Room was lovely to be honest in need for an update however you can see there has been a lot of money spent on upgrading the property so I'm pretty sure they will refurbish the bed rooms pretty soon. Lovely staff this is our 4 stay here and would highly recommend it Kathy and Joe

The staff at this hotel were amazing. So friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcome. The hotel is ideally placed and although a little dated in places, the hotel was very clean. We would definitely return in the future.

The hotel parking, entrance, reception area and lobby/bar area was really well kept and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful too. We stayed in a family room which was clean but didn’t feel like value for money. It felt dated and tired, especially the bathroom and bathroom floor - it was lifting in places like it had got wet underneath. The room had minimal ventilation due to the windows only opening a small amount and it got really warm. There was no cool air and we couldn’t get any extra fans as told it was 1 per room so we didnt sleep that well. It was an exceptionally hot day/night but an updated heating or A/C system would have made the stay more pleasant, especially when paying almost £200 for 1 night which didn’t include breakfast.
