We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Vienna as family. The location was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything was well maintained. Breakfast was also amazing! The best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They always greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. Their excellent service really made a difference and made our trip even more enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team for such a great experience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vienna.

All great

Great location. Pretty rooms. Nice service.

Hotel is in an excellent location for access to cafes, restauarnts and key tourist sites. Staff were very helpful with directions and spoke excellent English.

Hôtel près de tout, pas de problème particulier, air climatisé parfaite dans ces températures à 35 °C. Rien à redire tout a été parfait.

Incredible location in the middle of the old city. Room is small, slanted roof on one side as 9th floor, I bumped into it few times. When tried to go to bed around midnight, can clearly hear low rumbling noises not blocked by earplugs - perhaps moving chairs in the restaurant above.

Location is perfect! The sleep quality was poor - beds, blankets too narrow, pillows bumpy - very uncomfortable.

Fantastic location right on Stephanplatz and lovely staff

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Royal. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout my visit. The staff was courteous, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, quiet, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel’s location was convenient, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Royal to anyone looking for quality accommodations and great hospitality.

After looking in Vienna for specific dates and two other hotels booked with free cancellation, Hotels.com gave me a notice saying that a hotel I’d looked at was available for whatever price. I erroneously assumed it was for the dates I had already booked and for which I had been searching. It was my error to not triple check — and I discovered the dates change within minutes of booking at Hotel Royal without cancellation. I tried to get some help but the hotel would not budge. This seemed unfortunate and rather callous.
