Unfortunately, our stay did not begin as expected because the air conditioning in our room was not working. After a long flight, we arrived exhausted and were looking forward to resting, so this was particularly inconvenient. The hotel offered us alternative rooms for the night; however, because only double rooms were available, our family had to be separated despite having booked and prepaid a quadruple room several months in advance. Since it was already late in the evening, we spoke with Natalia at the front desk and requested that she contact the manager regarding compensation for the inconvenience. We were initially offered a 10% discount on our stay. We later learned that another guest's room was also experiencing air conditioning issues. The following day, the hotel moved us to a different room, and Alejandro, the manager, personally spoke with us. He was very apologetic and acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the situation, which we appreciated. While we were grateful for the staff's efforts to resolve the issue, the disruption to the first night of our stay and the need for our family to be split into separate rooms significantly impacted our experience.

We stayed on floor 3 one night and floor 2 one night. The air conditioning on floor 3 was definitely minimal, it was better on floor 2 but not cold by any means. Staff were amazing, very clean. Breakfast is fine, typical contentinal.

The hotel was clean, breakfast was sooo good! Perfectly located! Staff were amazing!

The family room is not good for older children since the bunk beds are quite small. Asked if there was another option but said this was how all family rooms are in their hotel.

The Hotel was lovely. Great location and perfect for getting around. Metro station 200yds from the hotel. Staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough to help.

We were very pleased with the location, the room, the service and the value for what we paid with the ICON BCN. And their breakfast buffet was great as well. The front desk staff was very helpful in lining up an airport taxi, even on a day when many central city roads were closed for a race.

Great boutique hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location and we were able to walk everywhere. Great Breakfast.

The Icon BCN is in a perfect area for exploring Barcelona - within close walking distance to many major sites. Our room was cute and impeccably presented. Breakfast was delicious with a great array of buffet items as well as the option to order extra mains (eggs, pancakes, etc). Would definitely stay here again!
