Nice spacious room. The staff were absolutely outstanding: friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast buffet and “a la carte” options. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Very nice property in a convenient location. Restaurant is outstanding for menu dining. We often preferred eating there to going to area pubs and restaurants. Buffet breakfast has large selection but was understaffed at times. For some reason, we had several problems with getting washcloths in our room, even with used washcloths put out on the floor to indicate that new ones were needed. Property is located a block from Parliament building and Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile. This puts it within walking distance of the train station and many attractions. But be forewarned: it is at the bottom of the large hill leading up to Edinburgh Castle, meaning most walks are uphill.

Perfect location. Easy walk to main attractions and the royal mile and right next to Holyrood park.

Clean rooms, they upgraded our room for a small fee when we asked. Good food and drinks in the many different areas. Golf course was beautiful and the staff was all very accommodating.

Great stay! Very well located you walk a mile or so to Edinburgh Castle just a block away from The Royal Mile. Great restaurant, the breakfast is outstanding and dinner was excellent. Used the fitness area and was pleased with the equipment available and the conditions. Highly Recommended!

It’s good property for short stays. We went for sightseeing and it’s good walking distance to the most of attractions. Rooms are basic but clean. Reception stuff very friendly, especially Yulia. Breakfast is worth paying, it’s tasty. Gym is very good for hotel standard.

Pretty mid. Doesn’t really seem like a Marriott. Rooms are tiny. Suite is laid out quite odd. Stag were nice. Good was just okay. Smash burger is not a smash burger.

City center is close, you can walk to majority of turist atractions, staff is nice.

I got a nice huge all window room but with broken heating system. Staff was extremely helpful, and the room was changed. However, for a smaller room with a tiny windo. Breakfast has lots of options. After two breakfasts, on separate days, I had problems with stomach. This is a pretty pricey hotel to have such issues.
