Nice hotel, well kept and clean

NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL (July 2026) Day 1 No AC and No Hot water. I got to the hotel and checked in at noon. We identified no AC during the hottest part of the year and the staff said “maintenance was aware” and offered to downgrade our stay into a smaller room without offering a refund in price difference or anything else. Later that night we go to shower and find we have no hot water. The staff said “we’ll have maintenance check tomorrow” which is against Portuguese Law so we left the hotel (THANK YOU EXPEDIA CUSTOMER SERVICE) and went to the Altis Grand.

We were travelling as a family of three (child is four). We booked this hotel due to the amenities (pool and gym) as this satisfied everyone’s wants and needs. We stayed for a week. The place was spotless! All common areas were well maintained. Room was comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Our A/C was sufficient. We had a small issue with our bathtub but maintenance came and fixed it quickly. Front desk was very helpful. We didn’t have breakfasts here, opted for many of the restaurants around us since the hotel is well located around transit options. My daughter is still talking about the children’s pool - she had so much fun, especially after hot days in the city. Would 100% return.

Excellent hotel. Great service from the staff. Lovely spacious room with high ceilings, good temperature and good aircon. The rooftop terrace, pool and bar is fantastic. Prices at the bar for drinks and food are very reasonable.

Perfect location. Hotel is very clean and modern. Rooms were very comfortable and considering we were on a very busy main road you could hardly hear any traffic. We made good use of the rooftop pool, although it can get it a bit busy. This could be due to the heatwave at the time. The yellow line metro is just 5 mins walk that has links to all the areas in the city by changing over at Praça Marquês de Pombal. The train station is about 10 mins walk away, which is really easy to use to get to the LX FACTORY. We did not have food at the hotel as we found it a little bit expensive, but found a lovely cafe right across the road called Pão da Vila, and went there most mornings for good coffee and a breakfast. If you don't fancy traveling into the main areas of Lisbon for drinks and food, about 10 mins away is Praça de Touros do Campo with plenty of places for food and drinks and nice atmosphere. We pre booked a taxi through the hotel which was €90 for a return trip. This was convenient and ran smoothly for us. Knowing how easy the metros are to use, next time we would feel comfortable using the red line straight from the airport to a metro 8 mins walk away from the hotel.

Room was a good size but the AC went out in the middle of the night. I only reported to the staff at check out since it was around 3AM when I noticed the room got unusually warm. Overall a good property.

The room was spacious and clean with all amenities catered for. Staff in hotel were very polite, especially at reception when being booked in (Mara?) who was friendly and took time to provide local information. Breakfast at hotel had a lot of choice and the food was good. Did not use the rooftop terrace as quite busy and was really hot at the time of our visit.

Really great hotel and location if you’re visiting Lisbon. The hotel is central to all the main attractions with only a 15 minute drive to everything. There is a self serve laundromat close by as well as a supermarket should you need anything.
