Nice hotel - but single room extremely small. Pictures don’t show how tiny the floor space is. Gym pretty good. Bar area is nice. Great location.

The hotel was really great and the staff was incredibly helpful. I had emergency surgery in London and their staff went above and beyond including calling the airline to help me. The food was great as well with room service and yes, Netflix!

The room was comfortable, quiet, and we had a pleasant stay overall. The location is excellent, right by Selfridges, shopping, and the tube. Unfortunately, the shower had no door, so water spilled all over the bathroom floor after every use. The real issue was the post-stay experience. We were mistakenly double charged and contacted the hotel for help. They claimed they couldn't provide an invoice because we booked through Expedia (which they later did provide), offered no meaningful assistance, and then stopped responding for days until we mentioned filing a charge dispute and leaving a public review. We ultimately had to explain the situation to them ourselves. Only after we filed the dispute did they acknowledge their mistake and apologize. This level of customer service is unacceptable and disappointing for a 4-star IHG hotel. Do not stay at this hotel if you want peace of mind from the start to end of your trip.

Overall great experience! I stayed in the room with the double bed and it was definitely very small but did what it needed to do. I didn’t love the bathroom (no barrier with the shower) but it was also fine for what we needed. Also, if you’re going in the summer, the hotel has amazing AC! The location was great and the staff were super nice and helpful. Would stay again!

Not up to IHG standards. It a franchise operated hotel. The room was the smallest I've stayed in outside of Japan. Bed up against one wall so had to climb in and out. When we checked in there was a strong smell of body odour and a despite asking for a nice room, we got a cupboard. Hotel looks great in the outside just poor in the inside. Much better value hotels near by. We will not be back any time soon.

Great hotel and in the middle of everything

We loved our stay at The Welbeck Hotel. The location was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice updated room with high ceilings. Not sure it’s worth 2X price of the hotel behind it/around corner but it’s cheaper than some others. Good area.
