Angie is well worth the stay! front desk

Came here as a staycation when I had family come into town. Room had a beautiful view with the lake. Nice pool area clean room and staff was friendly.

Hotel pool was dirty the 3 days I was there. (I’m not talking about just a little dirty. I could deal with that. The bottom was covered in debris, dirt, and leaves ) I chose this “resort” because of the beautiful looking pool and poolside bar for a relaxing few days. It wasn’t mentioned that the poolside bar is closed down and the restaurant inside is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I think this hotel was probably quite nice when it was first opened. Now it’s limping along on minimal staff and needing updates. The beds were the old spring types and not comfortable. The only positive thing I would say about this hotel was the price. It was cheap!

It was a nice quick getaway for the family

My husband and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary as well as our birthdays. We chose The mccormick due to the balcony and it being a resort with great reviews. The staff were wonderful during check in ( Angie and Rhian). They were very inviting and informative. I won't talk about the elevator. But the room felt very dated. The BALCONY was covered in dirt, spider webs and other bugs. It was disgusting. The balcony was the seller for me on this resort. I couldn't enjoy the views from my room-BUMMER. There was male secretion left on the headboard. The chair was filthy and the bathtub had a huge piece missing. The TV was missing an entire corner. The mattress felt as if a million people have slept on it. No i wasn't looking for luxury booking with this resort. But when I pay for a balcony with a view I expect that. The phone had no phone cord and it hadn't been cleaned. So tell me if there is an issue/ emergency HOW WOULD THEY REACH MY ROOM instantly? There were no breakfast options.
