It is a wonderful location ,quiet and peaceful. I have stayed several times and will stay again. I think that the maintenance team need to sort a few issues in Rm 203. The toilet roll holder kept falling apart.The towel rack was also not attached properly, and the bifold shutters between the bedroom and bathroom was falling off. I think the reception staff are great and the general room cleanliness is very good. The setting of the hotel is fabulous.

We stayed here about a year ago and it was really nice. This time around it was very run down. It was clean but things were about to break, the taps in our room were about to come off you had to be careful when using them. The place just needs a fair amount of tlc. It is in a beautiful location and has so much going for it but the stained curtains in the restaurant, the lack of hospitality, I’m not sure if they were short staffed or not but I thought they could use another staff member so we didn’t have to wait. I went to reception to book our dinner and had to use their phone to call them to book. Breakfast was a shambles, no butter for the toast, the staff member we asked seemed very confused about this. The dinner was beautifully presented and nice. Had to send back our drink of coke as it was mainly soda water as the mix had run out. On the plus side our bed was extremely comfortable and had the best nights sleep.

Perfect for a night in Rotorua.. arrived late afternoon.. check in was perfect. Room was big and very clean. The view was amazing. Everything you need for a few night or like us, a simple night

A beautiful and tranquil location on Lake Rotoiti. The location is serene and the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. We hope to visit again another trip. The manager on duty recommended the nearby Okere Falls Cafe for a GF breakfast and it was delicious and a great start to exploring the amazing local landscape.

The room and stay was good. Telhe room did not have enough glasses and cups. While booking they highlighted champagne service in the amenities, but nothing was offered during our stay which seemed disappointing and misleading.

Staff were lovely, bedding was clean but hotel was very run down
