Great hotel. Lovely room. The staff, especially Bart went out of their way to be so helpful. The rooftop restaurant and bar is lovely. My only complaint was the food. When we arrived for breakfast, well within the serving time, a lot of the food had run out and wasn't replaced and the staff didn't seem very happy about replenishing it. We only had it the first day then went to local cafes which was much better. Also, the food for the rooftop restaurant is taken up in the public lift and some of it was uncovered when it was brought into the lift which was not hygienic.

The rooftop bar and restaurant are the draw for this hotel, and it is truly spectacular. Overlooking the Vistula River and the castle. Staff seem to be run off their feet a bit, so perhaps they need to be treated a bit better. Food is excellent too. Check in area was a little busy downstairs at the hotel, with several people seeming to hang around inside and out. Cleaners are excellent and very friendly. Superb location near the old city and castle area. Easy transportation also on the Line 1 train / tram to the airport.

This is my second time. Perfect location with nice view of the Wisla River and Zamek Krolewski.

Room fine, breakfast ok, roof bar good

When we checked in we asked for a different room because the layout was better the staff was very accommodating. The sky view bar on the roof had fantastic views. Of course Bart the manager was very hospitable and knowledgeable.

The location of "Pod Wawelem" is exactly what it is: perfect. Had a room with balcony vew on Vistula and the castle.
