Room was clean and comfortable but there was a lot of noise from road traffic and appears to be directly under the flight path to the Airport. Be prepared for the noise which can be heard even with the windows closed

Room was clean. The evening meal I had on my first day was very good

The staff were very friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to make us comfortable. Loved the free parking. The location is amazing, very close to the airport. A very homely and comfortable feel. Highly recommending.

The hotel and restaurant and co mingled; so our room was quite noisy until the restaurant closed. Room was a good size and clean, but with blinds not curtains. Bathroom fitted the bill but no soap or shower gel was provided. Recommend the kiosk in the local park for a coffee and bite to eat. We arrived late afternoon and parking was plentiful. Filled up later with the restaurant and then emptied again.

Whilst the staff were extremely helpful, and the room was fairly clean, it was extremely dated. It was also extremely hot, to the extent I could not sleep at all. There was no Aircon, so the windows were open, though the other sides of the building prevented any breeze. Also, staff from the restaurant were in and out constantly chatting right outside my window. Overall, with some modernisation and a means of cooling the rooms, and newer sheets (very scratchy), it could be a good place.

For the price and location for my specific need the hotel was good. The bed comfy, room clean and a nice touch with the in room welcome pack of amenities and biscuits. The only concern was a young child (the receptionists child) randomly walking in my hotel room (room 2) to use my toilet and walk out again). I laugh it off now, but was concerning at the time.

Grubby exterior. Whole corridor leading to bedroom smelled of smoke (staff/owner/guest clearly smoking in bedroom). Room was clean, with clean bedding & towels, but no soap or shower gel in the bathroom (although a 'welcome gift' on the bed of disposable toothbrush, paste and eye mask). Hotel directly below the flight path approaching Manchester airport so a constant noise of planes all night. Overall, it was a bed for the night, but not somewhere I'll be returning to.

we stayed there a few years ago so thought it would be good. alas it's is no longer well maintained. it's definitely in decline. no information about the restaurant side. when o left to go out o had to use the side door as there was a key pad to main door but no information on what number to use
