This is my second time at this hotel. I didn’t enjoy it this time and will not be returning - the room was much smaller and was very dark facing directly into another part of the hotel so no natural light. The weather was incredibly hot in July but there was no free water provided in the room. Charging for CHF 1 for coffee pods is also very petty - just include it in the hotel rates. The towels and pillows were old and worn. It was not an enjoyable experience.

The hotel is very old but it has a great location. The rooms are small but it sits within walking distance of Lake Geneva (you can take a plunge in it!) and it is only a block away from Public transportation. The Air conditioning works! And the shower has great water pressure, we tried to lengthen our stay but it is booked solid. So plan ahead in advanced while making reservations. It is a very coveted area. The elevator is very small but it works. The breakfast selection was limited but the staff was super friendly and they will offer you endless cappuccino refills! We will definitely stay here again!

Very nice staff and great hotel.

This hotel had the best air conditioning of all the hotels I stayed in during my trip to Switzerland in the recent heatwave, so was very much appreciated! The hotel is not located in the old town area of Geneva, so it is a longer ~30 minute walk to this area. The hotel is a short walk from Geneve Secheron station, but is very close to the Jardin Botanique bus stop. Due to the heatwave, I used public transport (train/tram/bus) as much as possible to avoid walking in the extreme heat. The public transport system is very good and the Geneva travel pass provided by the hotel was very much appreciated. A good continental breakfast was available and there was late check out (12 noon).

Enjoyed our stay @ Hotel Eden.Location is close to some popular tourist spots.Accessible tp public transportation.Staff are wonderful and very helpful.Hotel is nice and cozy, clean and comfortable rooms.

Hotel Eden is conveniently located one minute from a busy bus stop. They gave us a complimentary Geneva Transport card which was great. We could be at the City centre within 10/15 minutes if not less by a bus from almost across the road. Besides their own restaurant and room service there are other restaurants across the road and two minutes walk away. The biggest advantage was to just cross the road to a park and within two minutes we could be swimming in the lake. The staff at the hotel were extremely courteous and helpful. Preferred to have tea in the morning and the staff gave us a kettle and tea bags besides their coffee machine. The bedroom was fairly sized for three guests. Overall it was a pleasant stay in a clean and quiet hotel with extremely courteous and helpful staff.

National Park directly opposite the hotel was amazing for morning walks especially after breakfast. Room was clean and spacious and staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. TV in the room had lots of different channels in multiple languages so very inclusive. Property is on the main road just a 15/20 minute walk from restaurants and main geneva train station

There’re several stairs from the entrance to the lobby, it’s quite difficult for senior citizens to carry suitcases on stairs. There’s limited space and no seats while waiting to check in. We needed to leave the key with the front desk but there’s only one staff in the front, we needed to wait to leave or pick up the key when the receptionist was helping others. We needed to enter into a tiny space before getting into our room, and the space could be assessed into another room. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe, no one could hear me if someone from the other room pulled me into their room, It is a very poor design.
