Amazing resort with very friendly staff!

Our stay at Tanque Verde Ranch was wonderful. The view out our window was the reason we came to Arizona… pure desert 🌵 beauty with thousands of Saguaro peeping their heads n arms up. SPECTACULAR VIEW We came here specifically for horseback riding… and rode almost every day. The riding was wonderful too. You are amongst them as we say (you couldn’t take a picture without a saguaro in it.) The staff, trail ride guides, and morning breakfast buffet all were top notch… and did I mention THE VIEWS🏜️. Thanks so much for our beautiful visit… we would love to return. Ps… we love animals. The cutest Nubs the cat and a reclusive old ranch dog… along with hummingbirds. We saw roadrunners, javelinas, cute little quails, rabbits and those beautiful horses!! Gentleman Jack was the most handsome I rode, but Big Tuna was a looker too. Hitchhiker I have to say was such a good ride… perfectly trained. They all were so good. Thanks again!

A beautiful property in a beautiful setting with lots of fun activities and friendly staff. Great for families!

My family loved Tanque Verde ranch! There were so many activities and my younger girls (aged 10) loved the kids program. My 12 year old son found it to be a little too “kiddie” for his taste, felt like it was geared towards young elementary aged kids. The food was great, our room was great, staff were nice, horses were amazing! Wish the food prices and menu hadn’t been changed for spring break, made our meal charges way higher for the week. My family did enjoy mountain biking but it seemed that inexperienced kids would sign up for the intermediate biking and then bring everyone down to a beginner speed or level, so that was a bummer for our experienced riders. We loved the Saloon, and honestly any chance we could get to be in the stables for rides. Cowboy cookout and line dancing was so fun! Already rebooked!
