The breakfast is a minimum. And the staff who manage the kitchen is miserabel( They take away the plates and so on while we were still eating round 9.30 am.
Our room nr 106 was very very poor.

Beautiful, spacious rooms with an elegant historic feel.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was just okay.
The hotel is very well located to many restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

This hotel was very nice. It's a good location, the staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and light, and the rooms were good. Breakfast had a good choice, and it was lovely sitting in the conservatory to eat. I would stay here again.

The hotel is a bit tired. The decor needs updating, there are bits & pieces that were aging and therefore not great. The ‘balcony’ from the bedroom ran across a couple, possibly more rooms with no break to separate the rooms - could be interesting if you were naked in your room & someone fancied a stroll! Although I wouldn’t have gone out there as it was thick bird droppings.
The breakfast wasn’t great either, not sure what the scrambled eggs were made of but they didn’t taste like egg.
The location is ideal for the station, it’s about 10/15 mins into the main shopping area etc.

Shower area poorly constructed. No shower stall. Floor not tilted properly for water to flow quickly into the drain. So the floor of the bathroom gets very wet after a shower. Tiles are glossy, the floor just becomes slippery and the whole bathroom unpleasant to use afte4.

The staff was great and the hotel is beautiful. The breakfast and free snacks were a nice surprise. However, the room was very small and outdated. The bathroom was even smaller. I expected something nicer based on the common areas in the hotel.
