Great location, within walking distance to many tourist sites, staff very helpful, only drawback is no elevator and would be difficult to navigate if you have mobility issues.

We loved our stay at the Royan Suites. The small group of staff were so friendly and it was nice to see the same familiar faces every day for the duration of the trip. Very helpful, very friendly. Breakfast was the perfect size and amazing with the traditional Turkish breakfast spread. Room was just right, spacious and air con was great on hot days. The quietness of the room was amazing despite the hotel being in the middle of everything. The location was unbeatable. Restaurants right outside the door step and the Arasta Bazaar, Blue Mosque are just around the corner. Grand bazaar was an easy stroll away. The cats were the best. We loved Artist the hotel cat so much and you can tell the animals are being looked after by kind people. We will definitely stay again.

Friendly and helpful staff! Excellent breakfast. Close to sites you want to see. Close to good restaurants with nice views of the Bosporus, mosques, etc. Close to shops and stores.

The location was excellent next to the historical sights. The breakfast was lovely. The rooms were very appointed and modern. Jem on the staff was helpful and the housekeeper was very good. However the other staff members were not very knowledgeable or pleased to willing to help. I would visit again, but I would not depend on tour advice or assistance past airport transfers. It’s a very nice hotel but could be great with more actual tour assistance.

The hotel was very clean and the room was really nice. The breakfast was also very delicious. Would highly recommend staying here!

Had a great stay in Istanbul at Royan Suites. It’s a small boutique hotel perfectly located in the Old City of Istanbul. Lots of sights walkable and about 10 minutes from the tram stop. The staff are excellent, very helpful and kind. Breakfast is fresh daily and you can choose how you like your eggs and coffee then they bring lots of different foods to try. You will not go hungry. There’s a cat in residence who is very friendly and will come and sit with you also. Istanbul is a great city and Royan Suites is the perfect place to stay. Would happily recommend and stay next time we visit.

Excellent breakfast - fresh and very well prepared and served quickly. Air conditioning kept the room comfortable for us.
