The location was great because it’s just off the highway and not too far of a drive to the national park. The restaurant next-door was very convenient for us to eat breakfast. The pool was a good size and the Jacuzzi was perfect at night. The staff did not have any pool towels to offer though.
We checked in around 10:30pm and they charged us $25+ tax for not being there by 10pm which was and not stated on their resort information.
We had room 109 on the second floor. I’m not sure if it was just our room or all the rooms, but our bed pillows were so flat and uncomfortable. I would also suggest that the lodge should consider replacing the beds entirely because it was uneven.
The shower curtains were dirty and had yellow stains. They should also replace those. Overall subpar.

It’s close enough to the west gate of Yosemite without costing too much
and you don’t need to book way ahead.

We LOVED our stay at Yosemite Westgate Lodge! It was convenient to Yosemite National Park, and our room was huge and super comfortable. We were there during a heat wave, and the AC worked really well. The beds were great, and the noise level was quiet even with a fully booked hotel. The restaurant next door had delicious breakfasts which we enjoyed both days. I highly recommend staying here for your Yosemite trip!

They could add some more amenities such as ice, soda, some basic groceries etc. The lucky buck restaurant staff were overworked and snappy. Otherwise, food is good.

Clean, about and hours drive from Yosemite Valley. Awesome breakfast at Lucky Bucks next door. Great value for the price!
