I've always stayed next door at the Alfaccio building. Decided to try Legatio this time and was pleasantly surprised. Similar layout but was way cheaper than the previous stay. I'll be coming back to this location again really soon.

The check-in process was annoying and took 10-15 minutes, which was way too long for an automated process. I had to re-enter my personal details into the tablet, and then the communication with the remote agent made it start over. Otherwise, the room is very spacious and comfortable for two to three people, and there's a nice balcony overlooking the river. The restroom area was clean and had everything you needed. The mattresses seemed very used or older, but they were sufficient for the one-night stay. This place would be good for a longer-term stay.

The place was not as clean. Checking in seems odd, and the person on the other end is not accommodating. Not quite satisfied with the place.

The legatio is our go to place to stay when we travel to Fukuoka. It’s convenient to everything and the room is comfortable. No stress staying here. We will be back.

No staff, clean room.

There was dust and dust bunnies on the tv and closet. The beds were uncomfortable (slumped in) and the linen looked wrinkled and just had us question if they were even switched. We could hear the water and other noises from the unit above. Also our room was directly facing a cemetery, with it being New Year and all it was disconcerting given our culture. It would have been good to know prior to our stay. At least then we could ask to change units. Overall the unit was spacious and well equipped.

A bit dirty in the room. Some weird brown stains on the kitchen wall and quite a bit of dust. In spite of that we enjoyed our stay here. This is our second stay at this hotel and we plan to return. It’s a very bright apartment like room with an excellent view. Very relaxing place to stay and close to everything. You can even walk 15 minutes to Hakata Station.

Great location , close to a fabulous fish market, 5 mins away

Liked the location, nice view. Great to have a kitchen and washing machine

The room was ok in terms of cleanliness. Facilities were average and a party of 3 had to share 2 mugs!! Even though the room was equipped with a washing machine, the container of laundry detergent was empty. Will not stay at Legatio Hataka if I revisit Fukuoka!!
