Dark, minimal lighting, depressing. Arived after 4 p.m. Sent code to get in front door and apartment. Card on table for room 4 didn't work. Another guest tried it to. Called then found keys in office as instructed to open room 4 door. Lights wouldnt work as no card. Told on phone to take hidden key to a cupboard in office and use the master card in my room for my lights which worked. THIS NEANT I COULD HAVE ACCESSED EVERYONE'S ROOM. SHOCKING BREACH OF PRIVACY AND SECURITY. Took over an hour from time of arrival to get into room and no staff. Bathroom had slippery shower unit and an emoty soap bottle on the sink plus towels and toilet role. Dark floor had a small step not highlighted properly so i tripped. I had to use my shampoo as no soap ! The long corridor also has small inadequatly highlighted step half way down. This outfit appears to be trading on its location near the river and deos not apoear to care about the facilities or wellbeing of clients. I have been through 81 countries and worked in 16. This is the first time i have documented a stay to warn the public. I was out of the gloom by 08.00 this morning. This place is not worth the money. Filthy kettle. A few biscuits and coffee in kitchen type area. No fridge or milk. Not a real bnb. Large old apartment 3rd floor. The 65 old stairs and corridor to get to the apartment were dark and gloomy. They charge an extra 25 EU for someone to let you in after 4 which i agreed to but nobody came. Old decor.

Room was nice.

Central location. 5 minutes to the Uffizi galerie walking. Another 5 from there to the Ponte Vecchio. Within a 15 minute walk of basically every major site in historic Florence. Tons of restaurants and merchants nearby. Large room, clean and recently renovated. This is a 3rd floor walkup (4th if your American). If you have lots of luggage it will be difficult. Run like an Air B&B we saw the staff only on check in-out. There were no hangars in our closet. We stayed here in late Nov and the central heating was robust enough that we had to open a window to cool it down. There was no thermostat in the room. Safe, affordable and centrally located, this is a great pick if you are travelling lightly and want to stay in the middle of the city

This hotel is on the 3rd floor of a historic building. There are no elevators (which I knew beforehand). The stairs are not for the faint of heart. We got one key card for our room, so we had to co-ordinate. Also, when we arrived, we had to check in using the codes although we arrived before 4 PM. This was not a big deal but I wanted to mention. The location is awesome. The rooms were spacious and clean. The communication was good.

Clean, good location but with lots of steps toward the third level. Better to mention number of steps at the front page for those who have luggages.

We had to deal with bed bug bites and mosquito bites. The bedding was also a concern. The blanket and coverlet were extremely worn, but the sheets were clean and acceptable. The pillows were so flat that we had to put towels under them to make them barely comfortable.

The hostess was kind but I was fooled by Expedia into thinking that I was staying at a hotel. It is not a hotel.You must arrive before 4 p.m. and it is a three story walkup.

Great stay! Perfect location!

Perfect location. Very accommodating and helpful. Definitely recommend for couple.
