Very helpful staff. Excellent location close to JR Rail station. Spartan decor.

Great location!

Staff was so very kind and helpful, even though we did not speak each other's language. The location was very convenient to the JR train station and I appreciated that it was a little removed from the busy streets, and I sensed that the hotel is about to embark on some renovations. I would return again because of the kind and patient desk staff.

Breakfast was great. There was a to-order menu that had a wonderful French toast.

A Western-style hotel. Right beside the JR train station, but a 20 minute walk to the commercial district.

Good amenities

Building is quite old but room is clean. Very near to Matsuyama station.

This was my second time staying at this hotel and while it was clean, convenient and affordable, service that day left a bit to be desired. When I arrived, an older gentleman at the check in desk greeted me somewhat brusquely and didn't believe me when I said I had a reservation, asking me to provide all my information again. It wasn’t until a younger staff member came over and cleared up the situation that I was able to get my room without unnecessary procedures. Despite this, my stay was nice and I’d return here if I was even in Matsuyama again.

Affordable and convenient with close proximity to Matsuyama station. A good option for anyone spending a day or two in Matsuyama as part of a larger trip.
