Our stay at Sleepy Bear was excellent! The room was clean, bed was very comfortable and the breakfast, homemade by Tony, was delicious. We enjoyed the balcony with the babbling brook as well. Mike, at the front desk, was extremely friendly helpful! We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great location in Gatlinburg at a great price. It was about what we expected for the price. Very clean except for the shower curtain along the bottom. Mini fridge and microwave were appreciated. It is an older property but some efforts have been taken to update it. A/C unit in our room looked like it could have been original, but worked as good or better than any modern unit. Bathroom very small and lighting is mounted off to the side of the sink instead of over the mirror so not the best for applying makeup. No counter around the sink means trying to balance hair appliances and makeup on the rim of the sink. Cl Nice TV but we didn’t spend enough time in the room to take advantage of it. Three options for weekend breakfast. My daughter said the breakfast burrito was good but my scrambled eggs were over cooked. Pancakes were delicious!! Laundromat just up the road. We were vacationing on a budget and were thankful for this option. If you are just needing a place to sleep, don’t mind a room that looks dated with limited bathroom space and are looking for a good price this one fits the bill.

Nice and clean. Balcony overlooks little pigeon river where we watched otters play. Close enough to all the fun without all the lights and noise

The staff was so kind and the property was charming. It’s a family owned hotel rather than a franchise. We enjoyed overlooking the little stream. The weekend food made to order was delicious. Great experience all around. Mamas chicken kitchen a few minutes away was a great spot for the whole family to eat.

Excellent stay! Highly recommended. Clean and cozy. The breakfast and staff are great!! Location is close to the Smokies but not in the middle of the tourist chaos.

We has a great time there. We will come back. I loved going on the balcony and listening to the creek. This Place amazing. Breakfast to order was the best.

Ran out of hot water half way thru the first shower. No desk, chair or table for my wife to put on her makeup.

Excellent room and service
