Positives:
- Main lobby and surrounding area was very nice & modern.
- A lot of toiletries & towels offered in room.
- Small water bottles offered and replenished daily, which was appreciated, free of charge.
- Local grocery store very close by, within a few minutes walk.
- 5 min walk to Metro station.
- Local area with some stores and restaurants was within a 20 min walk.
- Breakfast was available for a charge.
- Metro was fairly easy to navigate, inexpensive and clean.
Negatives:
- Not close to major attractions. Being our first time in Madrid, was not aware how far most things were. You have to take the Metro or cab everywhere.
- Cleaning staff would start cleaning rooms by 9 am and it was extremely noisy and disruptive. Walls seemed paper thin and you could hear the vacuum and banging of furniture up against the wall, literally waking us up most mornings.
- Room was a bit small.

最高 If you are looking for an idyllic little part of Madrid away from the busy city and metro , this hotel might be it. It is close enough to the airport and the city by public transport but you will have to be mobile if you aren’t keen to splurge . The staff are warm and friendly from reception to the kitchen, everyone does their best to make it a home away from home
