We got an upgrade for my friend’s bday which was lovely.v comfortable room overlooking the courtyard. Nice breakfast

Staff were welcoming, very friendly and efficient. The hotel was rather dated and looked tired, especially the rooms, although they were clean. The use of a guest lounge with tea, coffee and water was a bonus, although provisions hadn’t been topped up, nor the area tidied when we used it in the evening. More Choice of games would have been nice, too. Given the spectacular and unique location, the grounds appeared very neglected, apart from around the restaurant area. Very expensive for what it was.

A lovely stay in such a beautiful setting. Room was lovely and such a nice touch decorating it for our special celebration! Had a lovely cocktail on the terrace in the afternoon sun. Breakfast was delicious and staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely weekend stay for my partner’s birthday. The views from the room were beautiful and it was really nice to have a private balcony overlooking the river. It was only a couple of minutes drive to Bray Village, which was perfect, as we were having dinner at one of the restaurants. The breakfast the following day was delicious too, and the complimentary drinks were a nice touch. Thank you

Lovely location despite the rain . Staff lovely and room very clean with nice views . Loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom .Difficult to control the heating in the bedroom however .Nice bar area and great breakfast . Had dinner in the restaurant . Staff there were very attentive and food fine. I would say the dinner was nothing particularly special.

Staff incredibly friendly, fantastic breakfasts too. Plenty of parking, wonderful location.

This is such a stunning property! Even though you’re a quick drive from Heathrow, you feel a world away. The birds chirping, the river flowing, the beauty around the property and Bray is all incredible. I went for many long walks as a solo female traveler, including after dark once on accident, and felt incredibly safe. Can’t wait to come back!

The rooms were extremely clean, staff were courteous.
