A new hotel consisting of 2 towers separated by an arrival road. I attended a conference. The event centre was spacious and easy to get around.
Level 4 has several dining venues. I eat in the Dark Shepherd - excellent food.
The river View King room was comfortable and adequate, but not spacious.
My partner used the pool - v nice.
A great hotel right in the CBD.

The Star Grand is a beautiful hotel. The room was amazing facing onto the river and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Loved the Nespresso machine in the room. The amenities here are fantastic. The pool area is 5 ⭐️with an amazing view of Southbank.
Love that you can access the Skydeck easily and enjoy all that the Star Grand has to offer. Great location, walkable to everything.

We were upgraded for free to the river view and what a view it was. The room and bathroom are huge! Great amenities. We loved the two pools, sauna/steam room and having access to everything in the city south bank was so easy. $45 a night for parking seems very reasonable. Staff were very helpful! Would stay here happily again if we have a special event or occasion.

Stayed here for a couple of nights celebrating a friends wedding, not a single note that could make this less than a 10/10. Infinite options of amenities restaurants and bars. Stunning location and beautiful finishing. Hopefully will be back in the future.

We loved our stay at The Star. Although it was a Monday night, the rooftop Sky Deck was full of people and the views just stunning!
Room was gorgeous, recommend the river view (the higher up the better!)
We had dinner at Dark Sheppard and were well looked after by the team.
Would definitely do a little staycation again at The Star!
