Staff were so helpful

The staff are great and completely foreigner friendly. The beds are comfy and the bathroom is amazing! They have a variety of bathroom amenities for you to use if packing light. 10 minute taxi from Kyoto station & a load of shops within a 30 second walk.

Located in the North of Kyoto by the Nijo/Imperial Castle and between 2 subway lines. Room was small but modern. Not exactly sure how the manga comic collection fits in as this is definitely a business hotel.

Cool place with lots of Manga to read. Close to historical sites and Kyoto station.

Staff was great , room was very clean , laundry room available. Air conditioning and heat total disaster as they didn’t translate the instruction to English. The concept of eating right in front of reception didn’t resonate with me. I felt like I was being observed if I handle eating with chopsticks well. By the way, every hotel in Tokyo will provide fork and knife.

All was very well maintain

The rooms were clean. Found some stains on the walls, the floors and in the bathroom, but that is acceptable. The staff's service was pretty below average. The front desk did not speak English very well, and even made some unsavoury comments in Japanese not expecting us to speak Japanese too. The amenities were pretty good; we made good use of the microwave there, and the coffee and water bar was great. Plus they have tons of manga, but if you don't know Japanese the selection will be VERY limited. The room was very small, but that is expected of Japan. The beds were pretty hard, but the cleanliness of the cleaning staff was commendable. They know how to make a bed very well!

I stayed here for 2 nights to visit my friends in Osaka and Kobe. The room was clean and quiet! The location was not too bad 10 mins to JR Nijo station and 5 mins to Metro Nijo-jō station. The only complaint that I have is the location of the TV that I can not watch from the 2nd bed. Also it would be nice if there is some bath salts to relax Overall, the price is reasonable!
