We had a great stay at the Locke Hotel. We travelled as a family with our 3 year old. We stayed in a family suite, which was more than enough room for all of us. We found this hotel to be a great home base for the last few days of our trip. We were able to conveniently return our rental car to the europecar just down the street and relied on Ubers and the Hop On Hop Off bus for travel around Lisbon. We loved having the pool to come back to after a day of exploring and appreciated having easy access to the 2 restaurants on site (both were amazing). The buffet breakfast (which was included in our stay) was excellent and served in the beautiful Santa Joana restaurant. We will definitely recommend Locke hotel to any friends and family visiting Lisbon.

Lovely stay and the hotel was amazing. Although the lifts were slightly confusing, no one came to change towels, top up loo rolls so had to take them from the pool bathroom and the toiletries were empty in the bathroom on arrival.

Absolutely recommend this hotel for a Lisbon break. The rooms are gorgeous, we had no problem with noise and the facilities are great. Rooms are compact, but absolutely enough room for us. The decor was gorgeous, you get new towels every day and we appreciated the extra clean you get if you're staying for a longer time. To have the pool is an added bonus. It is a popular, large hotel so it can be busy but that didn't affect us, and if we wanted a pool lounger we made sure to get out there early. We ate at Santa Marta restaurant on site twice, the pizzas are amazing, the chocolate mousse the best we've ever eaten. All of the staff were super friendly and we had pastries and coffees daily from the coffee shop in reception, who had a brilliant selection including sandwiches. Also, the building the hotel is in is fascinating. Location wise, the hotel is really central, near to plenty of supermarkets and very easy for public transport or taxis (which are cheap in Lisbon). To get to the waterfront it's about a 30 minute walk through some of the most famous areas of the city and any further we got a quick Uber or Bolt which worked well every time.

I'm not sure who the blame should go to but this location is listed as a 4 star hotel, you book it expecting to get a 4 star hotel service. They consider themselves an apart hotel. They have no star listings in front of their property. The first room we got had blood stains on the bathroom floor, the area below the mirror had toothpaste stains. I will say they were very good at rectifying the situation , mistakes happen , it's okay and they handled it well , which is why I didn't rate it lower. Unfortunately the disappointments kept happening, there's no cleaning services during your stay, the new room while clean and nice overall , still had a dirty shelf in the bathroom, the hand soap was shampoo and the body wash pump was broken , the tv was also malfunctioning and switching on all night. One of the days they came in to refresh the towels but took and didn't replace the hair / hand towels. The first day we went to the pool at 9 am , all the pool towels were gone , by 10ish someone came to set up the bar and we asked about it and he went inside to ask them to replace it , at 10:45 I sent a text via whatsapp and they mentioned they were aware and it would be replenished but that didn't happen until 11:30 am. Another thing to be aware of is people come and hold the chairs and loungers and disappear for anywhere from 1 to 2 hours, people end up laying on the floor. Considering they don't have enough chairs/ loungers they shouldn' t allow this. It was leaving alot to be desired

Pool area was great although could definitely do with more sun loungers or chairs. Bedroom was spacious but the bed was orientated at an odd position due to a glass divide in the room between the bed area and the seating area, making it very difficult to get into the bed. The glass divide may have also restricted the aircon flow around the room as it was quite warm at night even with the aircon on low. The bed was however extremely comfortable and bathroom great! Breakfast option was very good and the whole design and flow of the hotel is very unique and high end.

Amazing hotel in great vicinity to everything. We did breakfast included, we were have such a great time we forgot we had breakfast included the first few days😅.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to cleanliness issues. We found debris in both the towels and bed linens, and the bathroom was dusty with an unpleasant smell. There are also quite a few stairs to reach the rooms, which can be challenging with luggage. On the plus side, the pool and onsite café were nice amenities and the highlight of our stay. Overall, we probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was lovely. Rainfall shower was gorgeous and bed was super comfy. The staff were so helpful and made me feel so welcome as a solo traveller. Would absolutely stay here again when visiting Lisbon.

Absolutely loved the hotel and the restaurant Santa Joana. Very clean, the decor is beautiful. Feels like an oasis in the heart of the city. Close to public transportation. The suites were great with a little kitchen and even in room laundry.
