The property was charmingly old worldly and the position was perfect. But the rooms were very shabby with no fridge, useless air conditioning and the bathroom needed total updating. Overall our room and bathroom were dirty and needed a total refurbishment. As did the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was chaotic - the toaster broke and wasn’t replaced. The coffee machine wasn’t refilled etc because of there not being enough staff. All the staff however were charming and helpful and were working really hard.

Okay for the money. No AC, lots of mosquitoes due to open windows. Extremely loud until 330AM on Fri/Sat nights. Great location if not driving. Difficult parking with ZTL restrictions.

Great hotel. Centrally located. Excellent breakfast and coffee. Felt like we were staying in a museum. Beautiful rooms and all side rooms we visited while pottering around. Adorable rooftop terrace. You have to appreciate history, old world charm and the beauty of staying in an historic hotel that is beautifully preserved.

Shower was too small. Toilet wouldn’t flush. Bed was not comfortable and just two twin mattresses put together. Noise in this area was very loud until 3 am.

This hotel is located in a great location, but is much more run down than the pictures indicated. Acknowledging the building is very old, but none of the furniture, fixtures or amenities are up to update. Not very comfortable or secure. Would not book again.

Everything was clean and well kept. A unique landmark. Not any amenities, no breakfast, coffee or pool. Staff were very commentated. This Hotel is just a nice place to sleep in.

Bed was awful. The matress is literally 4 inches think. I've slept on more comfortable cots. No hot water in the morning. Breakfast was meh. Lots if road noise.

The likes are that it has sooo much character . This place is old but that is what makes it so great. There was places that need repair , paint chipping, and skeaky floors n doors but again that is part of what makes this place so real. If only some of the furniture or walls could talk. You can walk everywhere in Pisa from here The roof deck bar service was great in the evening Small dislike was the street noise but still slept well My wife and I will be coming back when we return Pisa

Amazing service, very patient and helpful. The room was beautiful and very clean too!

Property has a lot of character and very pretty but was old and not modernized (outlets so so, door was difficult to use metal key), and fairly noisy at night
