Architecturally, a pretty hotel with plenty of room. Two complaints: What gives a 5-star hotel five stars, is the service. The young staff, although polite and respectful, were not well trained, (if they were received any training at all). The hotel has only 18 rooms and one restaurant, which was good, but limited in menu. Secondly, the hotel is 30 minutes from the city, and the hotel works with a transportation company that is 30+ minutes away. So, plan in advance. This would be a nice hotel for a wedding party, but not for a tourist or business visit to Phnom Penh.

Amazing breakfast ,this property has an excellent chef , beautiful setting 20 minutes outside of the city alongside the majestic mighty Mekong river …perfect for some relaxation and retreat

A beautiful setting alongside the magnificent Mekong river
Spacious and very comfortable suites with delicious food for breakfast and a variety of dishes available to suit all culinary tastes , a gem of a discovery just a short ride outside of Phnom Penh city ,a team of very helpful ,friendly staff whom will do their best to look after their guests

It. So peaceful. The staff are wonderful. Great breakfast and menu options. Highly recommend- great for resting also great for a destination wedding or family time away!

Superb setting on the Mekong River just a short distance from the city , very good breakfast with a world class chef cooking delightfully presented dishes , suite very spacious with private courtyard within ,good value for money ,the GM and his team really want you to enjoy your stay

Our stay at the Bale Phnom Penh was nothing short of amazing, not only were all the amenities 5 stars, but the staff were professional, and the resort manager Mika was always attentive to our needs. I highly recommend the resort to anyone, we will be going back again, thank you to all the staff at the Bale, we really enjoyed our stay.

Huge comfortable courtyard room with a fantastic bathroom. Wonderfully large swimming pool. We were impressed by the design and decor, and the excellent friendly staff.
