Wonderful stay at Chalet Ficalho, We stayed 7 days and it was a delight, from a friendly easy welcome, our stay exceeded our already high expectations Our room was large, a huge firm bed, 4 windows, with shutters and blinds for a completely dark room. Bathroom was light and airy, the shower excellent, one of the best and we ONLY stay in 5 Stars today! Breakfast was easy, good coffee, any variation of a cooked breakfast in addition to cereal, fruit, bakeries and meat, truly outstanding, nothing was too much trouble Ficalho is SO convenient, just a 10 minute stroll into downtown Cascais, similarly no more than 10 minutes to the wonderful Marina, great bars, restaurants and cafe A solid 30 minute stroll along the beach to Estoril and with Ubers everywhere, easy, quick and cheap to get into Lisbon faster than a train and for not much more Overall, a wonderful week stay, the owners are attentive and yet offer serene privacy, whether hours by the pool or sat on the veranda enjoying tea and freshly made cake, or reading a book with a glass of wine in the evening, really a wonderful experience, Highly recommended

What an amazing place this is from the location, to private parking, the food (breakfast & homemade cakes) but the best thing is the owners & staff. These are such warm & welcoming people who can’t do enough for you. We didn’t want to leave for Porto but we will always think about these people, they truly are special!

Mom and daughter run a great B&B. Historic old house with a lot of character. They do anything to help. Great location - 2 blocks to old town, 3 blocks to the water. Not in the middle of the noise and crowds. House is on a huge lot, so you don't feel closed in. Free parking inside iron gate is very nice. Small pool and grounds to lounge around on. True old world charm and great mom and daughter running the place.

Unique and special property in a great location

We had a wonderful stay at Ficahlo. The house and grounds are beautiful, and the family and staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were kept spotless and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in seeing the area.

We spent two nights at Chalet Ficalho and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is stunning and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. If we visit Cascais again we will definitely be staying here!

We arrived VERY early because we had to drop off family at the Lisbon Airport but were welcomed nonetheless and shown to our room. We are talking about 8:30 am! The owner offered us breakfast and it was delicious. Breads, eggs, bacon, fresh orange juice. Free off street parking but close to everything. Truly the highlight of our trip. Owbers were so kind and nice and we wish we could have stayed longer!
