Everyone was great. Amazing views!beautiful views and wonderful staff

Views are amazing, rooms are nice, but maybe on the smaller side. staff is very friendly and helpful. breakfast was very good. the biggest challenge was the hike up the hill every day to the hotel (which is why the views were great). good location with easy access to public transportation and the lake. we'd stay here again.

Stayed 1 night in May 2026. Location was ok - we took bus from train station to Casino-Palace stop and then walked the remainder. Hotel is located up hill and could be difficult to access by foot with heavy luggage. Room was a good size and had beautiful panoramic views of the lake and city. No air conditioning, but with windows open and using provided fan, we were comfortable. Would have preferred to receive Lucerne visitor pass prior to check in so we could have used it for the bus ride from train station to hotel.

Excellent property with attentive staff. Very close to the Glion train station and funicular, but it is a short and mildly challenging up-hill walk from the station to the property.

Lovely hotel looking over the lake. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were very friendly. Public transportation was close by.

All staff was super friendly. Room spacious and with good amenities. Close to all main attractions by foot. Classic style and with good personality. They give a pass for public transportation which was a plus and saved us money. Breakfast not included, but there are so many great options in the city for a quick bite. We check out and went to the city for the day and they kept our luggage for free. Nice and quiet location. I recommend Hotel Royal Luzern to everyone. Just to mention that is uphill and if you come for the central station with luggage, you must be in great shape like me hahaha!!!!

We absolutely loved staying here! We were in Luzern for 2 nights. We were greeted with a hearty welcome by our host, Bangin Salih, with a warm smile, a welcome map and public transport tickets (which included a 20% discount on many tours) We chose to purchase the breakfast buffet and it was DELICIOUS and the cost was a huge savings too! If we return to Luzern we would definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you Bangin, Thank you Royal Luzern Hotel!

We loved everything about the property. The location was perfect for us, the staff was so friendly. Be prepared to take your bags down stairs. I didn't see a ramp to do so. Our favorite thing was the jazz in the lobby. Made the start and end to the days even more beautiful.

Excellent breakfast, lots of great choices in egg dish preparation, fresh fruits, pastries, excellent meats cereals etc. all staff were extremely friendly
