Small BnB ran by one (two?) old ladies. Decent value for money at the expensive Yufuin region. Suitable for travellers that drive up.
Dinner was fantastic for the price. Grill meat set dinner with decent portion of marbled beef.
Rooms are well maintained and reasonably clean... obviously its in the countryside so you can expect some beetles, etc if you don't shut the window fully.

We had an emergency with our toddler and had to go to the hospital. The staff were outstanding and helped us every step of the way. This was old school service and we were made to feel like more than just guests. We were made to feel like family.
We cannot thank them enough.

A great little hidden gem in this area - we stayed here as a stopover to our next location. Room was clean and super cozy. Staff was very nice and helpful with us settling in. Location is very quaint and I loved all the statues decorating the place. The bath was super nice! Would recommend staying here and getting the dinner & breakfast experience - the food smelt so good!

사장님도 너무 친절하시고 조용한 시골집 온 것 같아서 좋았어요. 캐리어 끌고 처음 올라가는 건 좀 힘들었는데, 캐리어 없으니까 의외로 괜찮았어요. 올라가는 길이 예뻐서 사진찍다보니 금방 도착했습니다.
온천도 개별로 쓸 수 있고 가이세키도 저는 진짜 맛있었습니다. 일본어 못하시면 좀 힘들 수 있는데 저는 파파고 쓰면서 열심히 여쭤보고 소통했습니다.
저는 진짜 좋았고 추천하고 싶어요! 혼자 쉬면서 힐링하기 너무 좋았습니다

The property was quintessential Japan. We had an amazing view of Yufudake at moon rise from our bedroom window. It was lovely and quiet and the owner was delightful

Hot spring as hot as boiling water. Couldn’t go inside! Disappointed !
