とても良い This is a good, solid, clean, well-run hotel at the level of 3 or 4 stars. It presents itself as a FIVE-star hotel, however, and that is "false advertising." It lacks air conditioning, for instance, and thus exposes guests to the heat that the intense high-altitude sun produces in North-facing rooms. Moreover, it clearly shows its age; no signs of recent upgrades. Thus, it is clearly not a top, luxury hotel & does not deserve 5 stars. 3 or maybe 4 stars -- that is its level.

Staff was really helpful and solved all our issues and questions. We liked warm water in the swimming pool. Nice restaurant for lunch and dinner.

The hotel has an old world charm that belies its long history as one of the city’s finest. Located just a block off La Paz’s main drag, el Prado, it is close to restaurants, bars, shopping and myriad forms of transportation. The best thing about the hotel, though, is the the sterling staff who treat each guest as though they were a foreign dignitary. There are newer, glitzier hotels in the city, but nine they have such a wonderful staff. I highly recommend it.

Not enough toiletries and electrical problems with sparks when putting in adapter to charge phone. Also the hotel decor was wayyyyy outdated the doors were very bad.
