Mattress was comfortable. Staff service was excellent.

Great location, good price, friendly staff. Great sized room, still modern enough and clean. Only improvement would be a better shower head which was small and a little calcified. Will be back however as always enjoy staying here when in town

A truly excellent little hotel at the east end of Rundle Street with very spacious and functional guest rooms, the only negatives being the poor lighting over the vanity and the very slippery bath - a bit of a hazard for those of us of advanced years. The staff are very obliging, really reflecting what the hospitality industry is all about, and the portions on the breakfast menu are very generous. Location-wise, the hotel is convenient for free tram and bus services and surrounded by excellent restaurants offering almost any cuisine that you might fancy. What more could you want?

Good location, nice rooms.

After a ten day road trip in the Outback I wanted a decent room with a bath to relax before heading back to Melbourne and the Majestic was perfect. Good, central location and a very comfortable room with everything I needed. Although I was up fairly early next morning, it was good to know that checkout was a city-friendly 11am. The hotel’s name is a bit of a misnomer though - the rooftop is neither majestic nor garden like!

Great location. Very clean and daily access to housekeeping. Nice minimal, reasonably priced. I had a big room with separate bath and shower. Quiet. Well maintained room. Able to stream from my phone. Lovely staff in restaurant.

Very reasonably priced and well located hotel. We found our room on the 5th floor well appointed and adequately maintained. The room on Frome St was quiet and only a short to Rundle Mall shopping, tram and loads of restaurants. Would recommend for travellers looking for a good hotel in a good location that is not over priced.
