Great location as it was an easy walk to everything but the hotel itself was quiet. Great staff and wonderful bar area. The pool area was basic so if you want a bar and pool hangout it is not for you. It is more designed for a business traveler.

I loved the lounge, we encountered friendly people there.

We appreciated the graciousness of the staff and the wonderful gym, rental bikes, and other amenities. We would stay here again!

Nice hotel, very helpful staff from front desk to bag check to concierge. Would stay here again. The mandatory daily amenities fee was reasonable and we were able to get our money’s worth by using what they offered. Delicious food at the restaurant. My only criticism would be our room overlooked the outdoor patio area/plaza, and two nights of our stay there were private events that were noisy and went late into the evening past 11pm which made it difficult to sleep.

We had such an amazing experience at The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and the hotel surprised us with champagne and the cutest little Happy Birthday sign waiting for us in our room. It was such a thoughtful touch and truly made our celebration even more special. The hospitality, attention to detail, and kindness of the staff really stood out. This was our first time visiting San Diego, and we couldn’t have asked for a better hotel experience. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter!
