We were given room 1901 and the air conditioning struggled to cool down the room. We waited for over 2 hours since we took the room and gave it some patience, but the temperature would not go lower than 24'C. The vents had condensation and was dripping. Called reception, thye sent a technician but he claims that it is normal and all other rooms are the same. As my wife has asthma, it was unbearable. We were offered to check out another room (601). That one is quite better and acceptable.
Hotel is very run down, very dated. Sink was scratched up, curtains were old and disgusting.
Reception staff was accommodating. That's about the only plus.

Decent hotel that covers the essentials well. I stayed in a superior twin room as a solo traveller because a large bed wasn’t guaranteed, which was a bit annoying. The room was fine, with no extras like breakfast, but the location right next to the MTR made it very convenient.

Great location in central Wan Chai. Rooms standard size for HK. Good spot for those exploring HK or visiting for the rugby. Easy access to MTR with exit C only 2 doors away.
