Really good value hotel, especially for a solo traveller. Room was a decent size and was clean, staff were very helpful. Car park was a decent size but some of the parking was atrocious so I couldn’t always get a space. Only thing I would change is having a kettle - I did miss morning teas!

The staff were amazing, the breakfast was good with lots of choices. The room was somewhat updated but the carpet needed to be replaced. The building itself needed updating but has a good layout.

Was a fantastic room shower etc with balcony, however we were woken at around 7 by workers opposite our room this is unacceptable we're on holiday and had a long days ride we needed our rest plus no food at all we had to order a takeaway and we had only 1 pillow each which thin and soft

Excellent family run hotel, very convenient for visiting the Black Forest. Great service and nice, but older standard.

Shame about this establishment.run down property although rooms are passable and of reasonable stamdart Main building which housed the restaurant falling apart and need a lot of TLC.saying all that a decent investment would turn this place in to a little gem. Pictures on the website particularly on the outside are clearly well out of date. Whilst handy for the town ...less than 10 minutes by car we won't be staying here again. We travel to Freiburg 2 times a year ..have been doing so for 35 years . I wish them luck .

Nice room but no air conditioning. It was nice that a fan was offered in the room. Breakfast was good. Parking was a little bit congested.

The place is worth for its price. It is a bit farther from the city center but since the bus stop is literally in-front of the hotel, it is not a big deal. There are no other dining options around the area. Overall, the accommodation is good, it is clean, they clean up everyday or upon request, the receptionists greet you whenever they see you, they speak good English, so that helps. Check in and check out process were pretty smooth. My room was next to the street and so I can hear the activities outside, just enough to notice it and not really annoy you. Shower curtain rod feels like it would give up on you since it it made of PVC pipe. Just be careful, I guess.
